On Justice Bolt, the lienholder can share a document with a law firm right from the patient’s case page. Documents shared with the law firm remain in their portal, eliminating the need to share documents multiple times. You may also encounter notifications in the portal about law firms requesting documents.
The user can click the Upload Documents button on the notification so they can upload and share the requested document right away.
Alternatively, the user can also share documents with a law firm through the Documents section. Just navigate to an individual case using the search bar or scroll on the left-hand side of your portfolio. From there, they will be able to upload new documents to share or share ones from their existing library.
Once they've uploaded a document, law firm users who are listed as contacts on the case will be notified via email that they have a new document waiting for their review. Document sharing on Justice Bolt is secure and HIPAA compliant.
In case the user has shared documents on a case and the plaintiff had a change of representation, our system will temporarily conceal the documents they have uploaded as added security. They'll need to release them to the new law firm by going to the same Documents section and clicking on the Make Documents Visible to the Law Firm
