Justice Bolt allows providers to easily and securely charge for the transfer of medical records on Justice Bolt’s platform. 

Setting up Payment Processing

Justice Bolt’s payment process is powered by Stripe a leading provider of online payment services. If you’d like to charge for medical records on Justice Bolt, click the Connect to Stripe option on Justice Bolt’s organization page. Note that this option is only available for Justice Bolt admin users.

Justice Bolt users will then be able to create an account on Stripe, and define what bank account a user would like funds routed to. Stripe’s robust reporting capabilities allow a user to track revenue from medical records, and view a record of past transactions.

What are the fees?

Justice Bolt charges a service fee of 5% + $2 per transaction, which is used to cover the credit card processing fee and cost of the service. 

Choosing Prices for Medical Records

After configuring the Stripe account, any Justice Bolt user in your organization can add a charge for medical records.

When uploading a Medical Record, there will be a field to enter the price of the medical record. If a price is entered, a law firm will need to pay for the record before it can view it. Setting a price is optional, and is set for each document uploaded.
